About Event

Join Voltpost COO/Co-Founder Luke Mairo, Revel Director of Public Policy and Government Relations Jake Potent, and San Francisco Environment Department Program Manager Henna Trewn, and Debs Schrimmer, Senior Advisor for Urban & Community Charging at the U.S. Joint Office of Energy & Transportation, for a panel discussion on EV charging in cities moderated by Jeff St. John, Director of News and Special Projects at Canary Media.

After the panel, join Voltpost for a demo of its retrofit lamppost EV charging platform.

Existing EV charging infrastructure falls short of facilitating both EV market growth and ambitious carbon reduction targets. The demand for public chargers is particularly acute in urban areas, where air pollution makes the need for EVs more pressing. Without a private parking garage, drivers don’t have an accessible or convenient way to charge their EVs.

Join Voltpost, Revel, and the San Francisco Environment Department for a panel discussion on EV charging in cities as we unpack questions such as:

  1. How can cities adapt their infrastructure to accommodate multifamily, curbside, and multimodal charging?

  2. What are replicable and scalable models for deploying charging infrastructure in cities?

  3. How are governments and the private sector leveraging federal funds to support community charging?

By strategically expanding and enhancing public charging networks, particularly in urban areas, industry and government stakeholders can significantly reduce hurdles to widespread adoption.

Agenda:

8:15-9am: Registration, Coffee, and Networking
