About Event

Come "roll" with us! Join fellow Tribe members in learning the art of sushi making from an experienced sushi chef in Japantown! This class will take place on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Hotel Kabuki. Be sure to bring your appetite—we'll be making a lot of sushi!

​Please purchase your own ticket for this event ($99 + $7.66 fee) as soon as possible. It usually sells out! Cancellations for refunds allowed up to 7 days before the event.

Note that this is a public class, so there will be non-Tribe members in attendance, and you are welcome to bring friends along for the fun!

What you will learn

  • Knife handling for sushi-making

  • How to make inside-out and seaweed-out rolls

  • How to make hand rolls

  • Where to get sushi ingredients and fish

What's included in the class

  • All equipment required to make sushi

  • Sustainable fish: Yellowfin tuna, Steelhead, Amberjack

  • Fresh organic ingredients

  • A communal meal

  • Digital cookbook

Other Details

  • Cash Bar: Drinks are available for purchase at Hotel Kabuki. Free coffee, tea, and sparkling water.

  • Your ticket is good only for the date of the class. If you miss the class, there will be no transfer or refund.

  • 7-day cancellation policy. No refund or transfer after 7 days prior to the class.

  • Participants with soy allergy are discouraged from attending the class.

  • Each participant must sign a waiver release form before attending the class.

  • Attendees must be at least 21 years old or be accompanied by an adult.

  • The class size: 10 - 20 participants.
