Megan Janel Zimmer is the Creator of Emotional Engagement Design and Founder of Deeply Human: a human-centered, strategic, experience design firm that cultivates the relationship between strategy & emotional engagement. As an experienced strategist and life-long champion of emotional engagement, Megan has assisted numerous organizations across the world to create powerful event strategies with significant ROI and crafting the human experiences and engagement to achieve it.
Megan is a Certified Event Designer and an industry leader in human-centered experience design, emotional engagement design and event strategy. She has worked as an international event producer and experience designer for the past 15 years. She is passionate about transforming events through emotional engagement & strategy. Experiences are the most powerful tool to shift thinking, influence behavior and create outcomes.
As the Chief Experience Architect for The Future Project, Megan created the system of Emotional Engagement Design, which is a framework for designing human engagement and emotional experiences: Drawing from theatrical design principles, psychology, storytelling, empathy and human behavior. EED is creating experiences that make people feel Safe, Important and Loved, while eliminating moments of Confusion, Frustration and Boredom.
