Nayan is a distinguished leader in digital transformation and financial technology with over 20 years of IT experience, including a decade in wealth management solutions. He leads a team of innovators delivering AI-driven strategies, portfolio performance measurement, client reporting, and data aggregation tools that empower financial advisors and firms. Nayan's expertise spans building AI-based investment strategies, implementing Long Short-Term Memory models for improved risk-adjusted returns, and designing automated services like portfolio rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting, and market-sensing strategies for diverse clients, including pension funds and UHNW individuals. A recognized thought leader, he has authored articles on AI's impact in wealth management and was named Fintech Person of the Year at the Financial Technologies Forum, New York, in 2024.
Arun Pai - Principal, Monk's Hill Ventures
Arun is a Principal at Monk’s Hill Ventures, based in Singapore, with over 17 years of experience in finance and tech start-ups. At Monk’s Hill Ventures, he is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, and investment analysis and research. Before joining Monk’s Hill Ventures, Arun was the Chief Sales & Strategy Officer at Flow, an ethical AI-enabled credit management company, where he managed growth and capital raising initiatives leading to the company's acquisition. Prior to Flow, he was a founding team member and the Chief Kristals Officer at Kristal.AI, a WealthTech platform focused on digitizing private banking. Arun began his career in investment banking, spending nearly a decade at Lehman Brothers and Nomura across New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. A frequent panelist and speaker at various conferences, Arun regularly appears on MoneyFM to provide market insights. He also serves as a Training Consultant at Fintech Academy, reflecting his commitment to education and industry development.
David Liew - Founder, Agentic Brewery
David offers a distinctive blend of business acumen and technical expertise, cultivated through experiences at Meta and Unity and solidified by a General Assembly Software Engineering Immersive bootcamp. His entrepreneurial success in tech education (SG Code Campus) and F&B (Labyrinth) provides him with practical insights into technology implementation within resource limitations. At Agentic Brewery, David promotes AI literacy by clarifying the differences between structured workflows and autonomous agents. He advocates for a pragmatic, hands-on approach, utilizing code assistants and LLMs to create solutions that integrate human skills with AI capabilities.
