This month's speakers:Elizabeth Volk is on the venture partnerships team at Clearco and focuses on building out partnerships with partners that support founders through resources and capital. Elizabeth launched an e-commerce business with her own line of PPE and fitness products and scaled to 7 figures in revenue with the help of Clearco inventory capital. She is passionate about using her experiences to help other founders grow their businesses effectively and participating in the e-commerce ecosystem.
Radha Kapoor leads venture partnerships for Clearco. Previously she led partnerships for First Republic Bank's tech and venture efforts, worked at Techstars and founded a consumer tech startup in the fashion space. She started her career as a corporate lawyer at Skadden, Arps in New York. Radha is originally from London, UK but spent an amazing decade and a half in NYC, before moving over to the sunny West Coast.
Sedale Turbovsky is the CEO and co-founder of OpenGrants, a venture-backed startup focused on building modern infrastructure for funding. He has been an entrepreneur since childhood. After honing his leadership skills as an outdoor guide in his younger years, he started his professional career as an independent consultant focused on delivering data products and digital strategies to enterprise clients in South America.
Brittany Hall, the Senior Director of Impact at Hello Alice, is an enthusiastic advocate for small business owners. She currently oversees Hello Alice’s grant programs, SMB educational offerings, and the Year of Small Business movement. Prior to joining Hello Alice, Brittany managed marketing and communications in industries as diverse as healthcare, e-commerce, non-profit, and financial services in the US and Europe.
Mihai Patru is the Executive Director of Caravanserai Project, a social impact venture working to support mission-driven organizations, and an Entrepreneur in Residence on Social Entrepreneurship at University of California in Riverside. Prior, he served as a Senior Fellow at the School of Public Policy, University of California in Riverside where he designed and launched the first social entrepreneurship pre-accelerator at the University. He has founded or advised for several social impact ventures in the US, Romania and Guatemala.
