Description
This week, you will learn how to make drawings and home accessories with intricate beadwork patterns. What you will get out of the class:
Explore a variety of beads, beading needles, threads, tools, and metal accessories, along with their usage
Learn to use beads to remake clothes, dress up fabrics, and weave curtains
A deeper understanding of beading patterns
Learn to make a simple beading loom
Practice different stitching techniques, including peyote stitch and brick stitch
We will provide all the tools and materials for class use. You may take all the artwork you’ve produced with you!
Every “Repairing the Sky” Craft Workshop is composed of lectures on the history of the featured craft, an overview of basic techniques and tools, and guided practicing sessions. You can click on this link to learn more about the full semester class. Classes are beginner-friendly. Themes are interconnected yet self-contained. Students may enroll into one class, one series, or multiple classes/series at a time.

We do serve non-perishable drinks as part of Accent membership’s benefit. You may enjoy them in designated areas.
