About Event

What happens when youth and women take the lead in transforming governance across Africa? Real change.

Join us for a powerful and timely conversation with three influential leaders who are shaping the future of governance on the continent. Together, they’ll explore how to dismantle structural barriers, build inclusive leadership pathways, and empower a new generation of public sector changemakers.

This interactive dialogue will spotlight stories of bold leadership, community-rooted strategy, and long-term institution-building—and invite participants to share their own reflections and ideas.

Featuring:

  • Hatim Eltayeb – CEO, African Leadership Academy (ALA)

  • Senator Eddy Gicheru Oketch – Senator, Migori County, Kenya & ALA Alum

  • Abigail Kajumba – Executive Director, Emerging Public Leaders.

  • Kehinde Ayeni – Executive Director of LEAP Africa

  • Jenelle Sirleaf – Acting Chief Operating Officer for the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development.
