Title: Community Capitalism: Rethinking the Value Equation
Description: Capitalism isn’t broken—it’s just been optimized for the wrong outcomes. In this conversation, a storyteller-strategist and a venture investor-family office advisor challenge the assumptions that underpin modern economic models. We’ll explore how community, consequence, and long-term trust can (and must) be re-integrated into the value creation process—whether in early-stage startups, legacy businesses, or global institutions.
We’ll examine: – Why short-termism still dominates – What founders & funders miss when they chase scale at all costs – How new business models are emerging with community embedded at the core – What a better capitalism might actually look like—and how to build it
This won’t be a panel of platitudes. Just a candid, cross-sector conversation grounded in real-world experience—from the G20 and World Bank to the startup trenches of Brazil and the Baltics.
