About Event

Singapore’s fertility rate fell to a record low of 0.97 in 2023, with just 33,541 babies born. Yet, of those seeking fertility treatment to start families, a recent Fertility Support SG poll revealed that 40% did not feel supported in the workplace, and 37% did not tell their workplace about their fertility treatment. 48% felt that their fertility struggles affected their work.

Behind these statistics are real people - employees silently navigating fertility issues, pregnancy loss and the complex, often heartbreaking journey of trying to start a family, all whilst holding onto their careers.

You can transform this narrative. Your organizations can lead the way in creating environments where women don't have to choose between career ambitions and family aspirations. You're not just addressing one challenge—you're building a foundation for holistic workforce development that optimises business performance.

These struggles affect both women and men. Yet many suffer in silence, with little support at work. Most workplaces still treat fertility as a private issue. But it’s not. It’s a leadership, policy, and inclusion issue.

Fertility Support SG invites you to a pivotal conversation on what it means to truly support your employees through one of life’s most personal and increasingly common challenges.

We’ll also be launching Singapore’s first workplace guide to fertility support, designed to help leaders turn empathy into action.

Key questions we’ll explore:

• What a fertility-friendly workplace looks like

• Why is this a business and national imperative  - not just a wellness benefit

• How government, employers, and the community can lead together to create systemic change
