Tea Conversations: A Blank Mind.

​Welcome to Solei, a unique social teahouse concept that connects people from different walks of life who are looking to connect beyond small talk, the only social sphere in the city with a focus on a shared conversation.

​Studies show that people are often engaged in conversations for the first seven minutes; then, the conversation slows down, only to pick up again a few minutes later. We often give up at the seven minute mark--or earlier--distracted by technology or the awkwardness, hoping to escape the situation. Here, we bring together those who strive to go past the seven minute mark and discover a new (or rather old) way of relating authentically.

​Instead of a shared interest, at the core Solei bridges those who are different, different interests, industries, backgrounds, and belief systems, over dialogue and authentic connections, understanding and emphasizing with others’ unique experiences, one cup of tea at a time.
