Finance Therapy Circle But Make It Uncharitable
Finance Therapy Circle, where financial wellness meets mental health. It's 2025 and we're brining in collaborators to enhance our healing!
Meet our March co-host, Natalie Armitage
Natalie is an Earth Justice consultant, trained Pranayam yoga teacher, writer and wealth redistribution organiser. Living between the UK and Jamaica she is permaculture design certified through indigenous communities, so integrates a decolonising, de-growth perspective. Natalie is certified in the Trauma of Money and facilitates the healing of the very real trauma of capitalism that all peoples are going through as we opens up to possible futures.
Theme:
Natalie has over 15 years experience in the funding and non-profit space nationally in the UK, and internationally at the UN scale. With experience on both sides of the table (grassroots and funding) she is here to address the harm and exploitation caused to charity and non-profit workers that have been given politically charged tasks, whilst experiencing multifaceted kinds of burn out whilst working towards a “cause”. What the long lasting guilting has done on their ability to understand their own worth and value and how covered up racism, classism and capitalism in the sector has done to understanding of what is considered “good” or “bad” in the world. Natalie is also part of Uncharitable - an anti racist resource for people in the charity and non-profit sector.
As always, this is a safe and accessible space to explore your relationship with money.
Facilitated by Jaskiran Mangat, the circle offers a sanctuary for discussing all things money and its impact on our life, love, work, wellbeing and more.
The community is full of wisdom and experts from all walks of life, often sharing guidance and advice on the topics that surface during the session. This is a great opportunity to build network and community, whilst healing your relationship with money.
What to expect: We'll engage in a little group therapy, via a guided somatic practice to regulate our nervous systems and then open the circle to share, listen and reflect.
What to prepare: You don't need to prepare anything, just bring yourself and anything you need to help yourself feel comfortable and safe.
What our community are saying: 'I love this space! An amazing experience as always!'
'That was great - so lovely to see how the sessions have built such a nice community'
'I absolutely love the support and wisdom shared in the circle'
"I knew I could come as myself and it was all good. Meditated so hard I actually drooled. No joke."
Reminder: This is an emotional safe zone. We ask that you leave judgement outside the virtual room and respect each other during the session.
Session Time:
5.30pm - 6.45pm GMT
9.30am - 10.45am PST
12.30pm - 1.45pm EST
Everyone is welcome!
