Cake Club: Spring Fever
Cake club = heaven on earth. The (as far as we know) only club where you spend an entire two hours decorating and eating cake!!
The curated decor for this spring fever edition of cake club will feature all things floral and fruit, with the option to choose between lilac or pistachio colored frosting. The cakes will be filled with with strawberry jam filling and a rhubarb or honey vanilla soak. We'll give you our hottest cake decorating tips before decorating your own 4in layered cakes with all the seasonal works. We’ll then all gather around the table to eat cake, sip on bevvies and befriend strangers.
Each guest will leave with a little more cake-decor know how, their uniquely decorated mini cake, a reusable piping bag with two tips, their sweet tooth fully satisfied + hopefully a new friend <3 It will be wholesome & creative & communal and we can’t WAIT to decorate + dine with you.
All materials provided. The cakes + frosting you will decorate with are fully vegan and nut free! However, we are not an entirely nut free kitchen/space. Option to choose fully gluten free or vegan.
!!Please note!! This is NOT a highly technical cake decorating workshop. We'll demo filling the cake, frosting the cake, attaching piping tips using couplers and talk through different design decisions. You'll also get a cake zine to reference + take home that shows what you can do with different piping tips, ways to approach decorating your cake and a frosting recipe. The beauty of this event is all of the grunt work of baking, sourcing and clean up are done for you— you get to just show up, experiment, create, yap + eat cake! It's precious.
What can I expect from a club at RecCreate?
We design all of our clubs at RecCreate to feel like going over to a friends apartment for a craft hang where they took care of grabbing all the materials and show you the basics before the music starts bumping! Our emphasis is on process, play and community building, with conversation prompts throughout.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!

Though we do our best to keep all photography / video to a minimum, please note all guests who attend consent to being photographed and videoed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
Age Restriction & Dogs
All guests must be 14+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
