Remembrance & Celebration of Gail Foster's Life & Art
Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you for letting me know you’ll be joining us this Saturday, from 3 to 5 PM, for Remembrances & Celebration of Gail Foster.
A few notes to keep in mind as we gather:
We’re expecting a generous turnout, and the forecast promises a beautiful afternoon. Parking will be available across from the studio at Providence Baptist Church, 6402 Campbellton Redwine Rd. Please park there and cross Campbellton Redwine Road with care.
As many of you know, Gail lived for celebration. She delighted in gathering people—crowns, beads, and noise makers always at the ready. Though she didn’t exactly plan this gathering herself, her spirit is undeniably its heart. We’ll honor her with the same joyful, unguarded exuberance she brought to every occasion.
The large roll-up doors of the studio will be open, and the day is expected to be warm and sunny. This is a celebration—come as you are, wear what feels good, and be comfortable.
During the first hour, we’ll share Remembrances, music, and poetry. You’ll find crowns, beads, and noise makers on hand—please use them freely and often.
Finally, take photos—lots of them—and share them with me afterward.
I’m so looking forward to seeing you and honoring Gail together.
With gratitude and warmth,
Tom Swanston
