Yn y weminar hon, byddwn yn edrych ar esgeulustod ymhlith pobl ifanc a’r rheini o gefndiroedd ethnig lleiafrifol. Byddwn yn ymdrin â phynciau fel:

Delivered through the medium of English

Neglect is a failure to meet a person’s basic physical, emotional, social or psychological needs, which is likely to result in an impairment of the person’s well-being. In this webinar we explore neglect in young people and those from an ethnic minority background. We will be covering topics such as: 

  • Cultural sensitivities 

  • Language barriers  

  • Mistaken neglect  

  • Institutional racism 

  • Mental health concerns  

The webinar is co-hosted by WCVA and Ethnic Minorities Youth Support Team (EYST) and is FREE to attend. This online event is particularly suitable for anyone involved in policy development, safeguarding practice, working with young people or ethnic minority groups.
