Practical AI for Policy People

​This beginner session is designed specifically for policy-analysts who are eager to harness the power of artificial intelligence in their work.

​Whether you're new to AI or looking to deepen your understanding, this workshop will provide you with the essential tools and insights needed to effectively integrate AI into your policy-making processes. Feel free to bring along your laptop with your choice of AI tool to practice these lessons on the fly.

​Throughout the session, we'll cover the various AI technologies available today, focusing on their practical applications in the public service context. You'll learn about AI etiquette and tips for effective use, and explore specific use-cases tailored for policy-makers. Discover how AI can assist in writing briefs, analysing research documents, generating document structures, and summarising complex policy documents, along with other novel use-cases. This workshop aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills to leverage AI for more efficient and informed policy development.
