Event Sponsor

This event would not be possible without the support of our sponsor, Northeastern University.

Northeastern University’s Khoury College of Computer Sciences believes computer science is for everyone.

In addition to traditional, direct entry Master’s programs, the Align Master’s programs provide pathways to a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Cybersecurity for people with nontechnical backgrounds.

About Our Speaker

Michelle Brenner (she/her) is a Senior Software Engineer with 14 years of experience. She started in engineering support and now leads large-scale development projects. A Philadelphia native who currently calls Los Angeles home, she is an art school graduate and a self-taught engineer.

During her career, she has enjoyed creating software to help others succeed, from artists to restaurateurs to fellow engineers. She uses her experience to advise on topics from technical to team building.

Michelle shares her engineering travails and techniques for career growth through speaking at over 30 conferences, being a podcast guest and host, and publishing in STMPE, 97 Things Every Cloud Engineer Should Know, and online at LeadDev, and OpenSource, with the hope others can learn from her challenges.
