About Event

On the sidelines of the African Development Bank (AFDB) Group Annual Meetings in Nairobi, The Kenyan Wall Street will host an invite only luncheon; Mitigating Climate Risks; The Role of African Financial Institutions to explore the strategies for African financial institutions to manage climate related risks and how to best integrate sustainability principles into their operations and investment decisions. 

The luncheon will be in form of a keynote and panel discussion featuring leaders in African financial services sector to discuss the obstacles hindering the transition to sustainable finance in Africa, including resource constraints, policy and legal frameworks, and the shortage of qualified experts, while also highlighting the opportunities presented by emerging trends in the financial markets.
