Salon in the Park: AI x Dignity

​​This Salon in the Park event, hosted by the SuperHuman Society in the beautiful backdrop of Alamo Square Park, invites you to engage in conversation among participants as we explore the potential effects of AI on the dignity of humans, our cultures, and the natural environment. Our discussion will revolve around questions such as:

• ​What does a dignified future for humanity entail?

• ​Right now, your grandma confusing a Facebook post with a DM is only slightly embarrassing, but in the future will adopting new technology be a prerequisite for dignity?

• ​As a technological paradigm shift affects the job market, how can displaced workers keep their dignity?

• ​How will AI and new information systems increase or decrease our appreciation for existing cultures and ecosystems?

​​​This is an in-person event. This will be a picnic-style event on the park lawn, so feel free to bring a blanket, towel, or chair, as well as any drinks or snacks to enjoy while talking. To facilitate smooth and cohesive conversations, we kindly ask attendees to arrive within the first 15 minutes of the event.
