| Theme Introduction |

In today’s rapidly accelerating flow of technology, capital, and talent, Silicon Valley stands as the powerhouse of global innovation, nurturing countless unicorn startups and continually attracting international venture focus. Singapore, leveraging its robust policy environment, capital concentration, and strategic location, remains the financial and venture hub of the Asia-Pacific. Meanwhile, Taiwan, with its stronghold in AI supply chain technology, has become an indispensable pillar within the global AI industry chain. The close synergy among these three regions is poised to become the new driving force for global innovation.

Taiwan’s comprehensive AI industry layout spans semiconductor wafer foundry, high-performance AI chips, server hardware, system integration, smart robotics, and AIoT devices, establishing an end-to-end AI solution supply capability from foundational hardware to application layers. Especially amidst the surge in demand for generative AI, edge computing, and smart manufacturing, Taiwan’s supply chain covers key areas including 2nm advanced chip fabrication, liquid-cooled data centers, AI machine vision, and critical robot components, providing solid and reliable technological support to global startups, investors, and enterprises.

On the other hand, Silicon Valley’s capital markets maintain strong enthusiasm for AI hardware and software startups, while Singapore’s mature regulatory framework and financial platform open new windows of opportunity for Taiwan’s AI industry chain to expand internationally and accelerate cross-border collaborations.

With the establishment of the SIC Singapore Chapter, we are committed to building a “Silicon Valley Capital – Singapore Investment – Taiwan Technology” Golden Venture Chain, efficiently connecting Taiwan’s technological strengths with Silicon Valley’s venture capital momentum and Singapore’s financial resources. Moving forward, we will focus on promoting cross-border collaboration and market expansion in diverse sectors including smart manufacturing, healthcare AI, fintech, and agri-tech, co-creating an international innovation ecosystem integrating technology, capital, and markets, and ushering in a new era of global innovation growth from 2025 to 2028.
