About Event

What? We know PR can be a black box, so in this 60-minute open session for founders and heads of marketing or comms – or anyone supposed to be looking after PR - we wanted to give you an opportunity to ask any questions you have about communications and media relations for your company. That might be everything from wanting to get media coverage for an announcement and building better relationships with journalists, to understanding best practice for crisis communications, debating using a PR agency or wondering whether it’s worth investing in PR at all. We're setting this up because startups don’t have a lot of options when it comes to PR advisory - and agencies aren’t incentivised to tell you how it works or how to do it yourself.

Who? At MVPR, we're mostly ex-agency and have collectively spent 30 years advising large corporates and start-ups on their corporate communications and media strategy. We have worked for companies like Kraken, Winnow, Lilium, Exscientia, Babylon Health, Darktrace and now work with pre-seed to post-IPO stage startups, helping them manage their PR efforts more efficiently. We try to be no frills and no bullshit - and want to be a resource for our VC partners to help companies spend less and get more effective doing PR.

Agenda

  • 5 minutes - introduction from host(s)

  • 10-20 minutes - covering questions you shared with us in advance

  • 35-45 minutes - open Q&A

NOTE: we want to keep the call engaging, participatory and constructive so have capped registrations at 30 seats, but anyone that comes after that will receive an invitation for the next surgery.

About MVPR

MVPR (Minimum Viable Public Relations) was founded in 2021 with the aim to become the default PR solution for all startups. MVPR offers a subscription based, self-serve interface that gives startups without the money to use PR agencies and the time to create content - a direct way to land stories and build relationships with journalists. Combining a platform which delivers data-driven media interactions & coverage with light touch senior PR counsel, MVPR aims to create a new standard for public relations focused on data, transparency and efficiency.

In short: MVPR uses data and automation to replace PR agencies and help companies build relationships and share content with journalists.
