Workshop: Applying Motus Tags to Snowy Plovers

​​This workshop will provide hands-on experience in the proper application of Motus telemetry tags to shorebirds. We will be applying tags and bands to Snowy Plovers on South Great Salt Lake. Led by biologists from Tracy Aviary and Great Salt Lake Audubon. We will head out into the playa and use bownets to capture nesting adult Snowy Plovers.

Bring sunscreen, waterproof boots, water, and binoculars.
