Dreamore Decompression Hike and Picnic
Our LATech Week event was met with a resounding "DO IT AGAIN!" from those who attended; and many "gosh dangits" from those who couldn't.
So here's your chance to come to our 10 acres of private land a let your body and mind say "ahhhhhhh" after the chaos of LATech week and an overall action packed Q3.
Enjoy salon style conversation with other founders, investors, startup & creative leaders. Sip a beverage on coastal cliffs, bring a picnic to enjoy in one of our seated areas, and explore our private manicured hiking trails. Come/go anytime between 1 pm and sunset.
What is Dreamore? We are a recruiting & advisory firm for startups since the dot-com era, AND we own physical locations that we share with our local startup & investor community. Breaking ground next year! https://dreamore.io
WHAT TO EXPECT:
WEAR PROPER SHOES: this is a rugged, park-like setting so you will need shoes and attire suitable for hills and dirt paths.
-You don't have to hike. Choose your own adventure!
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ:
Check your GPS before you head up the hill. Phone reception is VERY spotty and it usually points to the wrong location unless you lock it in before driving.
Off of SaddlePeak, turn on Swenson near a line of mailboxes and keep going down that road until you see 2195 painted on the curb next to a mailbox and Chinese pagoda. There's an open chain link gate and a sign that says DREAMORE just inside that gate.
Enter on the dirt road and park safely in any flat area, not blocking the road or other cars. If you'd rather not drive on the dirt road, you may park in the large flat area across from the gate. Do NOT park on the road. The neighbors are very kind, but do not want any incidents or disruptions on our street.
PUT A NOTECARD ON YOUR DASH with your name & phone number. If there are any concerns, everyone will know whose car it is, and how to reach you.
FURY AND HUMAN + 1's:
Leashed dogs and well attended children are welcome! Also other founders/investors/startup leaders with who you may share the link to RSVP directly.
It is OK to bring alcohol and enjoy it responsibly on the land.
Compost toilet available, Starlink wifi in a limited area, and water from our well. Until LA County issues our grading permit, the land is completely off grid. Sustainability FTW
