How can the methods and practices of Effective Altruists be useful to therapists in improving mental health for the greatest number of people ?
This talk is tailored for current and aspiring psychotherapists. It combines formal knowledge brought by Effective Altruism to psychotherapy, and tacit, field knowledge. A current or aspiring psychotherapists may be disillusioned by the state of the science, knowing that we know little while actual people are in great suffering.
Effective Altruism doesn't provide a miracle for the practice. However it brings unknown, niche perspectives that may prove to push what therapists can do to another level.

Addressing procrastination and burnout

Emily Budd, expertise and applied knowledge on mental health, notably through her position in facilitation for Rethink Wellbeing's CBT support group.
Second speaker has to be defined yet. We're trying to find a psychotherapist within effective altruism.
