National Muffin Day Bake-a-long Virtual Party
This year’s National Muffin Day will be our tenth year baking delicious muffins and giving them to those in need.
🗓️ When: Sunday, 2/25/24 (all day)
Where: A kitchen near you!
How: Take pictures of your muffins and good deeds, and share on Social Media with #GiveMuffins. For every Muffinter, we’ll match with a monetary donation to two very worthy causes!
Why: To Raise awareness and spread kindness for people experiencing homelessness and hunger.
Double Chocolate Muffins: Baking Party Recipe
3/4 c Milk of your choice
1/2 c Oil of your choice (neutral)
1 Egg or Flax Egg (1 tbsp flaxseed meal plus 3 tbsp water)
1 tsp Vanilla
5 c of Spinach
1 2/3 c Flour (can substitute Gluten-Free Flour Blend)
2/3 c Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 c Brown Sugar
1 c Chocolate Chips (sub in dairy-free/ vegan if desired)
