An evening for anyone in the middle of figuring things out — artists at the start of something new, half-finished ideas, and people who love art & creativity.

Growing Roots is an art community night an open invitation to slow down, make something, and share stories with others who are also somewhere between beginning again and growth.

Here’s what to expect:

​🥕 Open mic for the stories, songs, poems, or idea you’ve been carrying around
🎂 Artistic cake by patternncakestudio & bites inspired by mornings at the farmers market
​​🖍️ Colouring corners, casual chess, and cozy spots
​​​​🌱 Mini portraits, creative installations, and small surprises

This is also the soft launch of our new studio: Ever After Hours, a space we’re building for micro-weddings and creative gatherings. After outgrowing our 400 sq ft studio faster than we imagined, we took a leap. Now we want to open the doors in a way that feels true to how it all started with creativity, community, and care. Whether you’ve known us for a while or are just discovering this now, we’d love for you to be part of it.
