Slow Way Walk - Haywards Heath to Kew Wakehurst

​Join us on Monday 9 June for a walk of the Slow Way connecting Haywards Heath and Kew Wakehurst. 

​Charlie Peverett (Content Rising / Birdsong Academy) will help us interpret the sound of birds we hear along the way. 

​For the Monday walk, meet at the front of Haywards Heath train station at 10am.

​We expect to arrive at Wakehurst at around 12pm.

​There are buses connecting back to Haywards Heath from there.

​Why this walk?

​Later in the same week, on 12 June, the Millennium Seed Bank at Wakehurst will play host to Content Rising, a one-day gathering for environmental creatives and content producers. 

​250 participants will explore: 

​- the move from consumer mindsets to citizen empowerment

​- how to create powerful content strategies without burnout

​- ways to make space for everyone to take part

​- the power of place, nature and physical experiences in digital communications

​Speakers include climate lawyer Farhana Yamin, author Jon Alexander, broadcaster Alex Thompson and design researcher Michael Kibedi.
