Music Move: Mobility + Spoken Word / Storytelling
Welcome to our second Music Move: An event to create space—physically and mentally—to let go, connect, and express yourself.
We’ll start with a simple mobility session, using movement to release tension and ground ourselves in the present moment. It’s a chance to shake off the day, open up the body, and prepare for what’s to come.
From there, we flow into the spoken word performances—a different kind of release. You can hear local artists or hobbyists alike! Words have a way of touching something deeper, sparking reflection and connection in ways movement can’t always reach.
Together, these two practices complement each other: one opens the body, the other the mind and heart.
The day is about showing up, being present, and allowing the experience to move you—literally and figuratively.
Duration: Approx. 2 hours
There will be drinks and some snacks for all.
