About Event

Companies love extolling their mission, highlighting the impact you will make, and highlighting all the benefits and perks that come with your role. That's great and all but what about your compensation package? Rarely do you begin interview processes armed with all the details of your comp package. We think that is a problem and we are here to de-mystify compensation.

In this interactive workshop, Emily Kramer, will break down the systems of compensation- salary bands, job leveling, benchmarking & market rates- and provide you with tools for navigating compensation conversations.

She will cover:

  • Being your own advocate

  • Basics to ask up front

  • Tactics for getting paid fairly

This workshop centers the experiences of women and was created for all womxn identifying folx. It's for you if you are job seeking, in the final interview stages with a company, prepping for a compensation conversation with your manager, or just wanting additional tools for thriving in your professional careers. Allies are welcome to attend to learn.

How to Get Compensated Fairly is part of the Kapor Capital Equal Pay Series, a year long speaker and workshop series by and for women thriving in tech.
