It is an ancient, abundant, and remarkably underused power source crucial for stable grids and decarbonizing sectors still heavily reliant on fossil fuels.
Globally, just 0.1% of the Earth’s heat content could meet global energy needs for over 2 million years. Despite this potential, geothermal has remained confined to niche applications. High upfront CAPEX costs, complex engineering challenges, and operational hurdles have slowed its broader adoption.
Today, however, we stand at the edge of a geothermal renaissance.
