5/20/22 Update: **Location change to Dudley Cafe** — hybrid indoor/outdoor patio.

We're excited to be partnering with Dudley Cafe and hosting our event at their beautiful indoor space and outdoor patio.

Thank you to all who have already RSVP-ed — we're excited to see you soon for our celebration!

If possible and you haven't already RSVP-ed, please do so by Friday, May 27th — this will help inform our planning.

We're also updating this invite with additional details below on transportation and our COVID policy. Let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.

GenUnity Family,

Join us on Friday, June 3rd from 5:30-8:30p for our annual celebratory GenUnity Jam!

Location: Dudley Cafe, 15 Warren St, Boston, MA 02119

What to expect:

  • Food, fun, and tunes - bring your summer dance moves and energy!

  • Build community across our cohort members, community partners, and other supporters (Fall'20 Housing, Fall'21 Housing, and Spring'22 Health Equity)

  • Celebrate a community milestone in our journey together: nearly 100 aspiring leaders served!

Transportation:

We'll be following up with more detailed transportation information as we get closer to the event. Parking is available at nearby lots and Dudley Cafe is accessible via public transit at Nubian Station.

We're also happy to try to arrange carpools — please reach out if you are open to carpooling (either space in your vehicle or if you'd like to join one!).

COVID Guidelines:

Ensuring the safety and health of our community is very important to us and we have adopted the following policy. When you attend, please:

  • Present either proof of vaccination or negative COVID test to enter the venue

    • If access to a COVID test is an issue for you, please contact us ahead of time, and we will arrange for a rapid test on site

    • Proof of vaccination can be provided by showing your physical vaccination card or a photo of your card

    • Proof of a negative COVID test can be provided by showing a photo or email of negative test results for a rapid or PCR test made within 72 hours or antigen test within 24 hours

  • If you are feeling unwell or have had a recent positive COVID test, please consider the well-being of others and do not attend the event in person. 

  • Masks and hand sanitizer will be available.  

  • We will continue to follow city, state, and CDC requirements, as well as the requirements of our host location, and inform you if there are any changes to these protocols. 

Additionally, at the event we will be using color-coded stickers to make it easier for our attendees to know who is comfortable with contact and who is not - these will be available at registration!
