About Event

Gender Equity Roundtable will be an event series taking place in April and May to showcase women in the Forge community and their career paths as part of this year's Launch gender equity initiative.

​The event will have two parts: a discussion between Ann and a Forge team member covering topics like finding a career path, excelling in the finance industry, and gender equity in the workplace, as well as an an audience Q&A.

Ann has spent her career building human capital capabilities to solve a broad range of business problems in the field of investment management. At Two Sigma since 2001 (the company’s founding), Ann is a Partner at Two Sigma Impact and a Managing Director at Two Sigma. In this role, she works with management teams as an advisor and board member to drive business and impact value creation through targeted leadership, organization, and workforce strategies.

Prior to joining the Two Sigma Impact business, Ann served as an Operating Partner for Two Sigma Ventures. In that role, she helped design and build leadership and talent capabilities to accelerate the growth and success of early-stage technology companies in the TSV portfolio. Prior to Two Sigma Ventures, Ann served as a Managing Director at Two Sigma and the founding Head of Human Resources for 15 years, where she helped grow the public side of the company from a start-up to over 1100 employees before pivoting to PE/VC.

Ann began her career at D. E. Shaw & Co after earning a Master’s Degree in Counseling from New York University and a B.A. in Psychology from Dartmouth College. A native of Virginia, and a New Yorker for the last 30+ years, Ann lives in Brooklyn with her husband, two teenage children, and one dog.
