Taiwan x U.S. Startup Setup AMA
Hi CEOs,
When we’re running our ikigai Launchpad and investing in startups in Taiwan, we often hear the same question from founders:
Where should I incorporate? And how do I structure my Taiwan entity alongside a U.S. C Corp?
These aren’t just fundraising questions. They come with long-term implications around accounting, legal, and operational complexity. To help our founders navigate these challenges, we’ve partnered with our friend and trusted expert Mark from 11fleet, a seasoned CFO and investor who has guided many startups through cross-border incorporation strategies.
We’re hosting a special Ask Me Anything (AMA) session with Mark to answer your most pressing questions and demystify the process.
In this AMA, we’ll cover:
How to make your company "investor-ready"
Common structures for dual-entity setups (Taiwan + U.S.)
Key operational differences between your Taiwan and U.S. entities, and what to watch out for
Who should join?
Taiwan-based founders planning to fundraise globally
Foreign founders looking to build and operate companies in Taiwan
Founders exploring how entity structure impacts long-term strategy and fundraising readiness
