About Event
Born out of tragedy, fuelled by hope, The Baton of Hope began with two fathers reaching out in their grief after losing their sons to suicide.
The Baton of Hope held its first tour in 2023 across numerous locations within the UK.
In 2024, the Baton of Hope Derby/Derbyshire was launched, ready for the 2025 tour which will take place on 13th September.
Supported by people bereaved, affected or passionate about suicide prevention, there are many ways you can get involved, from being a baton-bearer to volunteering.
Join Sarah Markham who will be chatting with Project Lead, Claire Goring, about the plans for the 2025 Baton of Hope Derby to raise awareness of suicide prevention across the city and beyond.
