About Event

Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is the practice of deep relaxation meditation. This 30 minute class will guide your mind through the layers of consciousness normally associated with sleep, while part of you remains aware. Think of it like surfing the brain waves to spend some time in a state between wake and sleep (The Alpha/Theta border) This is a rejuvenating and restorative practice for the brain and nervous system. Benefits include:

- More wakefulness during the day/easier to fall asleep at night

-Stress management-improving dopamine levels.

-Enhanced cognition-memory, learning and creativity.

+many more.

Please wear comfortable clothes, bring if you wish a blanket, cushions or eye mask (if those work for you) This practice can be done sitting, lying down (floor or bed)

*Please avoid caffeine and food 1-2 hours before class. If you live with any diagnosed mental health condition (PTSD, Anxiety) please consult your medical advisor before practicing any kind of yoga.
