About Event

Level 1 practice of one hour with Chinmayi Bhavanishankar. If you have done some yoga in the past and want to get back to a regular weekly practice, this session is for you. The class will challenge you, ground you, and energize you - there will be plenty of options for poses that you may not be comfortable with.

This is your time to invest in your own body and breath - please leave all distractions behind as much as you can and join at least 5 minutes early.

  • Please do not eat a heavy meal right before class - eat a healthy breakfast at least an hour before

  • Have your yoga mat ready, a strap (a belt or leash will do) and two blocks if you have them

  • Please let me know if you have any current or past injuries or tightness or soreness at the beginning of class

  • Remember - your body is your responsibility. If you experience any sharp pain during practice, come out of the pose immediately and don't push yourself.
