About Event

Customer experience is more crucial than ever, and observability is at the core of ensuring seamless digital interactions. Join us for a panel discussion moderated by Bill Hineline, who will share insights on how executive leaders can develop an observability strategy that drives business value while enhancing customer experience with leaders from Zendesk and Lightspeed Commerce.

Speakers:

Bill Hineline with over 17 years at United Airlines, Bill brings unparalleled real-world experience in bridging the gap between complex IT operations and business outcomes. He’ll provide actionable strategies for building an observability framework that optimizes performance, minimizes downtime, and keeps customer experiences friction-free. In this session, you’ll learn how to move beyond data overload and focus on what really matters—aligning your observability investments with business goals.

Fred Moyer is an observability and monitoring engineer, architect, and strategist. He has worked for startups, PE-backed companies, and public companies including Symantec, Zendesk, and J.P. Morgan. He received an award from Google's Istio development team for developing their first community adapter. Fred is an industry authority on the subject of Service Level Objectives, histograms, and measuring latency at scale, as well as earned the moniker "Observability Economist" for his expertise in how to manage observability at scale economically.

Shruti Venkatesh is a dynamic engineering leader with a track record of scaling organizations and delivering high-value technical solutions in fintech, SaaS, healthcare, and e-commerce domains.  She currently drives product and data engineering for merchant financing solutions at Lightspeed Commerce.
