Kupala Night is one of the most popular, magical and mysterious Belarusian holidays. In ancient times, Kupalle was associated with the summer solstice. It is believed that during this holiday, male and female beginnings are uniting and two incompatible elements - fire and water - are combined. When Father-Heaven married Mother-Earth, our ancestors performed various ceremonies, fortune-telling, gathered flowers, danced and just had fun.
