About Event

Earth Law Center x Pillsbury hosts the “Bring Nature on your Board: Launch of the UK Onboarding Nature Toolkit - Workshop & Networking Drinks”

Curious about how you can bring Nature on your board? How Nature can be onboarded into an organisation, what this looks like and how to embark on the journey?

Join us at the first session of our ESG x Nature Roundtable Series - where thought leaders come together to explore the concept of onboarding Nature as a Stakeholder, and celebrate the launch of the UK chapter of ‘Onboarding Nature as a Stakeholder Toolkit’. The Onboarding Nature toolkit and accompanying Dutch chapter was launched in summer 2024 by Earth Law Center, B Lab Benelux and Nyenrode Business University. Tailored to the UK’s regulatory and corporate environment, this chapter provides actionable guidance on applying the toolkit within UK organizations. By addressing country-specific frameworks and obligations, the UK chapter equips ESG professionals and Nature-curious businesses with practical tools to drive Nature-focused governance locally.

Our workshop brings together leading voices in law, business, consulting and media to explore how nature can be onboarded as a stakeholder within businesses and organisations in the UK. We will explore the concepts and models for onboarding Nature and delve into what this looks like in the UK jurisdictional legal context with practitioners operating in the space.

This session offers a unique opportunity to learn from cutting-edge practices and align your professional expertise with the future of regenerative corporate governance. Enjoy engaging discussions, network with like-minded professionals, and savor delicious food and beverages throughout the evening. Join us to be part of this pioneering movement!

This Event is hosted by Pillsbury Law alongside The Earth Law Center’s Nature Governance Agency (ELC-NGA), and will feature B-Lab UK, Lawbox and Purpose Disruptors.
