Community Building for Investors, with Mark Birch
Aussie Angels & AWS would like to invite you to a private breakfast event with an exciting guest visiting from overseas.
This event is invite-only for investors within the Aussie Angels VC & angel community, we're keeping it small so you can get more quality time with Mark.
Why do Investors need to build a community? Many ask that very question, but many Angel Groups and VCs are starting to see the value of community to bring greater value to their portfolio from hiring to go-to market. Join us for this session where Mark Birch, Global Startup Advocate at Amazon Web Services, shares lessons learned and hands-on advice for building and scaling communities that help Investors tap into the power of community to build lasting impact and more successful outcomes for their portfolio.
Guest Speaker: Mark Birch, Global Startup Advocate at AWS, Founder Enterprise Sales Forum
Now for a bit about Mark Birch:
I am a community builder, author, software entrepreneur, business development expert, and startup advisor based in New York City, but most often on a plane traveling the globe.
I currently work at AWS sharing the stories of how founders across the globe benefit from building and scaling their startups on AWS. In that capacity, I create content, speak & present, and enable my colleagues to build thriving startup communities.
I am the founder of DEV.BIZ.OPS, a long standing community for technology leaders about coding, developers, engineering enablement, and the power of communities.
I also founded the Enterprise Sales Forum, a global community of 25,000 B2B sales professionals that meet in-person and virtually through local chapters to share ideas, network with peers, and learn new skills.
Previously, I was at Stack Overflow to help launch and commercialize their SaaS Q&A platform and then led efforts to expand business in APAC working with C-level executives to help them understand how to improve software delivery performance and team collaboration.
