Lunch Chat for Neurodivergent Women
Are you a woman looking to connect with others in a supportive and inclusive space to discuss neurodivergence?
Join a virtual lunch-break chat where we can share experiences, learn from one another, and build community! ☕🥐
This event warmly welcomes anyone who identifies as a woman. When it comes to your relationship with neurodivergence, it doesn't matter whether you're diagnosed, self-identifying, questioning, or just curious about the topic.
As someone with an adult ADHD diagnosis (who is exploring AuDHD too), I know how valuable it can be to share stories and strategies with others who "get it." This chat isn’t just about ADHD – this is a space for all neurodivergent experiences, whether that’s autism, dyslexia, OCD, or anything else. You are invited to disclose your journey, but it is not mandatory. 💖
We’ll be using a variation of the Lean Coffee format, which means:
Everyone can suggest questions or topics at the start of the session
We’ll vote on what to discuss
Participants can share their experiences or ideas for about 2 minutes each
After a few shares, we’ll move on to the next topic
You can ask about neurodivergence, work-life balance, or anything else that’s on your mind that day!
In similar sessions I hosted for other audiences, participants brought questions like:
How do you approach concentrating on important tasks while dealing with something emotionally challenging?
What have you recently learned about your brain that blew your mind or really helped you?
How do you keep track of or stay engaged with multiple interests or hobbies?
When (or do you) disclose your neurodivergence at work?
Is it worth getting diagnosed?
You’re welcome to pre-submit questions, and participants will vote on the day for what they’d most like to discuss. 🤚
Bringing along food is encouraged, and if you need any accommodations to feel more at ease, please let us know!
Accessibility Notes
Automated subtitles and transcripts in Google Meet will be turned on
Sessions are not recorded. Automated meeting assistants will not be accepted unless all present agree otherwise, but attendees can request access to the transcript afterwards. Participants can ask to have their submissions removed or anonymised from the transcript.
We’ll use Miro for voting and capturing questions/tips — if you need assistance, just ask!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
