​A New Approach, A New Community

​After a successful first event during Climate Week featuring an incredible lineup of speakers and panelists, Transformative Ventures is launching our Family Office, Philanthropists, and Impact Investors Community. As discussed at our event, we have been planning to host ongoing calls in addition to our in-person gatherings. We have been talking to community leaders, and members, and are crafting a new type of call and a new type of community - one worth your time.

​In service of fostering this kind of community, we have spent the last six weeks putting together a structure for creating truly transformative change together. A few of the goals for this effort include:

Connection
With such high-caliber folks in our network, some of the greatest value we can provide is to introduce you to each other. These calls will give you a chance to connect with the kinds of amazing people who were at our family office + impact investor day.

Investor Ecosystem Mapping
But more than just introductions, we are excited to share some of the innovative tools we’ve been putting together to help us better find, learn about, and connect with each other.

​Insights
In addition to the wealth of knowledge and insight in the room, we will have short presentations from thought leaders and innovators sharing insights, structures, and options useful for those in family offices and large-scale impact funding spaces. Our first event will feature climate finance expert Bill Kentrup from Ethereum Climate Fund, presenting on How To Save American (and Non-American) Farms.

​Anti-Pitches
Because of the extensive Global Unity and Transformative communities, we get exposed to an incredible array of hidden gem opportunities. Typically deals like these are shared during “pitch days,” but these are not a good use of an investor’s time. You don't need to listen to an entrepreneur for 15 minutes to know if you're interested - you know within one.

Your time is better spent connecting with other investors. More useful would be three to five bullet points outlining opportunities so you can identify which ones you'd like to learn more about. These calls will feature “anti-pitches” which will give you a quick view of some of the most exciting opportunities in our networks.
