Global Game Jam - San Antonio, TX
The Global Game Jam® (GGJ) is the world's largest game creation event taking place around the globe! 🌎 The GGS is proud to partner with UTSA for this year's global game jam! ALL SKILL LEVELS and All Ages Welcome!
A "game jam" is essentially a hackathon focused on game development. The structure of the GGJ is everyone gathers on Friday evening for the kick off and theme reveal. All jammers worldwide are then challenged to make games based on that same theme, with games to be completed by Sunday evening for the presentations so we can all see each other's work!
Let's come together, be creative, and express ourselves by making a video game!
**San Antonio, Texas location is a 3 day long game jam** However, if you would like to participate, and take the full week to work on your game, you are welcome to do so!

7:30 PM - Start Jamming!
Saturday
10:00 AM - In-Person Jam Site Door Opens
6:00 PM - Jam Site Doors Closed, Contact in Discord
9:00 PM - Jam Site Closes for the day
Sunday
10:00 AM - In-Person Jam Site Doors Open
7:00 PM - Jamming Stops, and all games must be turned in!
7:30 PM - Presentations of games, judging, and ending ceremonies
