About Event

Join our art historians and art experts on exclusive guided tours through selected galleries. The Art Walks offer unique insights into current exhibitions, exciting artistic positions, and curatorial concepts.

On this bike tour between Karl-Marx-Allee and Kreuzberg, Juschka Marie von Rüden guides you through six extraordinary exhibitions of Gallery Weekend 2025. The tour starts at Capitain Petzel, where Monica Bonvicini presents new sculptures and wall works, staging everyday gestures as performative acts of female autonomy in an impressive video installation. Just nearby, Serban Savu explores themes such as history, myth, and memory in his paintings at Galeria Plan B. At Konrad Fischer Galerie, the iconic black-and-white typologies by Bernd and Hilla Becher take center stage, offering a photographic foundation of German conceptual art. Continuing along Kreuzberg’s Landwehr Canal, Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler presents new works by Klaudia Schifferle – feminist, energetic, and situated between painting, sculpture, and punk music history. Right next door at Trautwein Herleth, Puppies Puppies (Jade Guanaro Kuriki-Olivo) blends color field painting, minimalism, and pop with the dating app Grindr to create a politically charged, visually powerful spatial installation. The tour concludes at Ebensperger in the Fichtebunker, where Bonnie Camplin & The Beat Messenger unfold their speculative Holographic Universe – a collaborative research project exploring creativity, consciousness, and the nature of reality.

Note: This Art Walk takes place by bicycle. Please bring your own.
