About Event

In a world that is unraveling because of disconnection, proximity is powerful. Mosaic is where intimacy, story, and immersion are center stage.

The evening will start with a stirring performance (think poetry, music, or thought provoking comedy) which will set the stage for an illuminating conversation with thought leaders traversing the world of psychedelics and the human experience. The evening will culminate in a social, providing a space for intimate connection, serendipitous encounters, and the cross-pollination of ideas 👁️👌🏽

Mosaic is a nexus for the curious and a celebration of community— crafted for the minds that seek depth and the hearts that thrive on connection.

If you want to attend but require financial assistance, please get in touch. No one with a genuine interest in the topics will be turned way.

Artist:

Gandhaar Amin started learning Indian classical music from his father, Nitin Amin, at the age of 4. He started touring with his father at the age of 8, and began his journey as a solo performer at the age of 12. Those early years spent immersed into the world of Indian classical music helped him create a strong melodic base to launch his musical exploration. Gandhaar has since released multiple albums and singles, while also producing music for other indie artists and composing background scores for TV and movies for over a decade. He was notably a collaborator and co-composer on the debut music album by His Holiness The Dalai Lama, titled Inner World. Gandhaar performs this unique and fresh music as a solo performer, or with a band. He has played at festivals and private events across India, and has recently moved to Toronto, Canada, looking to cater to the diverse tastes of western, urban audiences.

She is the founder of a community-oriented group called @cheffing4good, where she hosts dinners and other events donating 100% of the proceeds to non-profit charities that provide support and resources to marginalized individuals in need. As a part of the opening team and former executive chef for a Mental health organization, Miriam developed a new way of interacting with food educating guests the importance of gut health as it relates to mental health and the impact nutrition has on the mind and body.

Brendan Hussey Ph.D went into science to understand life and the universe as inspired by psychedelics, dabbled in engineering biology and biotech entrepreneurship only to find his way back to psychedelics through investment banking and venture capital. He played a leading role in financing Canadian psychedelics companies in the 2021 boom, exposing him to the full spectrum of psychedelic science, regulatory, patents, finances and business models. He now applies this know-how as a venture capitalist helping to build and grow earlier stage neuromedicine companies, as well as continuing to advise and consult deep tech bio companies. He is still trying to understand life and the universe, and increasingly encouraged that we'll get there. But so far, Uncertainty is the Opportunity.
