Information
The 6th IBUS Hybrid Module 1 Workshop will take place on February 5th, 2025 in San Francisco, CA at the Crohn's and Colitis Congress.
This IBUS workshop has been developed by a group of international experts in IBD and intestinal ultrasound (IUS). Participants will learn about the basics of IUS and its role in diagnosis, follow-up of treatment, and complications in IBD.
The workshop consists of 2 parts:
Theoretical and didactic training: participants will engage in an interactive, self-directed eLearning course via IBUS
Practical training: the hands-on experience component will be facilitated through an introductory face-to-face workshop involving sessions with patients
This workshop, hosted by IBUS and iUSCAN, will be part of the Crohn's and Colitis Congress, marking the first Hybrid Module 1 training ever attached to an international IBD meeting. Co-sponsored by the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation (CCF) and the American Gastroenterology Association (AGA), this workshop will take place on February 5th, 2025, the day before the official start of the Congress on February 6th, 2025.
The workshop steering committee consists of Drs Michael Dolinger (USA), Noa Krugliak Cleveland (USA), Michael Winter (USA), Rishika Chugh (USA), Krisztina Gecse (The Netherlands), Federica Furfaro (Italy), and Rune Wilkens (Denmark).
Applicants who are accepted into the workshop will receive complimentary registration for the entire Congress, a value of up to 756 USD, providing an exceptional opportunity to engage in cutting-edge IUS training and attend the full Congress after the training.
