Join Professor Benjamin M. Sadun, Partner at Dechert LLP's Los Angeles office, for an engaging workshop that delves into the intricate balance between artificial intelligence (AI) and privacy.

About the Speaker:

Professor Sadun, a partner at Dechert LLP, is a litigator based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, nationally recognized for his expertise in artificial intelligence and large language models, the Biometric Information Privacy Act and related privacy laws, product liability and mass tort disputes, securities litigation, and antitrust litigation.

Professor Sadun has substantial experience advising Fortune 100 companies, private entities, and individuals in federal and state courts, as well as with regulators. He has served as trial counsel in highly publicized multi-million-dollar jury trials, including a complete defense victory in a 10-week jury trial profiled by Law360 as a “Legal Lion Verdict of the Week” and selected by the Daily Journal as among the “Top Verdicts” of 2019. In 2022, he was recognized by The Legal 500 US in the area of Product Liability, Mass Tort, and Class Actions. In 2023, he was recognized by The Legal 500 US in the areas of Consumer Products, and Pharma and Medical Devices.

On behalf of countless clients, Professor Sadun has negotiated with the FTC, numerous State Attorney General offices, US Attorney offices, and Congressional Committees. He also teaches privacy law and information management to law students at USC Gould School of Law.
