FOSDEM fringe: AI plumbers conference

​Wouldn’t it be great if all the people building low levels of the AI stack (from hardware to inference engines) had their own open source conference (sort of like Linux people have Linux Plumbers Conference)?

​Here at AIFoundry we thought so and given how many amazing open source AI hackers are coming to FOSDEM 2025 we thought having it as a fringe event was a perfect match.

​This event is a continuation of the DevRoom to have more time together in a more relaxed atmosphere. Expect hands-on sessions not just talks. Bring all your questions, unresolved issues and unaccepted PR requests. We also are going to have some HW from our co-organizer and event sponsor Tenstorrent! Come to get your hands on Wormhole (https://tenstorrent.com/hardware/wormhole) and accelerate your local models beyond NVIDIA.

​The event will happen in Ghent (so you can also participate in CfgMgmtCamp - double the fun!)
