This month we're eating hot pot!!
When it's this cold, nothing is better than having hotpot in a communal setting with friends and family. Join Designer Friends in December at the best hot pot spot in NYC.
Flushing is far, but the hot pot is worth the trip! We typically spend around 3 hours there to eat and hang out. RSVP closes by Monday night so please RSVP asap if you're interested.
The $20 reservation fee will be applied to the final bill but is otherwise non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
We average less than $100 per person with alcohol included.
Due to the family-style set up, we are only able to split the bill equally, even if you do not order alcohol or order fewer items. Fortunately, alcoholic beverages are reasonably priced by NYC standards.
We typically take Uber on the way back home at around 11PM. We try to pair up and split the fare back. It was around $35 all the way to DUMBO or Williamsburg or around $45 to Manhattan.

About Designer Friends Events
There aren't many senior designer events in NYC, so we're hosting an informal get-together that's warm, comfortable, and without the dreaded transactional conversations.
We've personally reached out to a small group of designers that we know and love, as well as some new folks we want to get to know. Most importantly, we want to see how well you can draw a cat (see below).
