​To mark World Menopause Day (Saturday 18 October), the Knowledge Quarter is bringing together leading clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals for a powerful morning of insight, connection, and action. This event will cut through outdated narratives and confront the persistent neglect in women's health research - particularly around PMDD in perimenopause and the lived realities of menopause.

​Despite affecting millions, conditions like PMDD remain misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or dismissed altogether - leaving countless women navigating cycles of pain, confusion, and isolation.

​Menopause, too, is often reduced to a handful of symptoms, when in reality it reshapes physical, emotional, and cognitive health in ways the healthcare system still struggles to fully address. It’s time to change that.
