The Promise and Reality of Nuclear Fusion with Malcolm Handley

​Put on your Sunday best, grab a mimosa and join us for a talk by the amazing Malcolm Handley, founder of Strong Atomics - a fusion VC fund, previously at ARPA-e, and a software engineer.

​This talk will cover the recent explosion in fusion companies, major reactor designs and the recent advances outside of the fusion field that enabled the new wave of designs and faster iterations. It will also cover the financials of fusion, why renewables alone may not be enough, and how to go from a software engineer to a fusion investor.

​​Following a 30 minute talk + Q&A, we’ll break out into smaller discussion groups for the awesome folks in the community to meet each other.
